The first major restyling of Chrysler's flagship 300C sedan is slated to bow next year and while these spy photos aren't nearly as revealing as the nose shot of the 2011 Dodge Charger, there's plenty to be discerned from this camouflaged test mule. The basic dimensions of the car remain the same, along with the upright greenhouse that gives the 300C its distinctive look. However, the car is not nearly as slab-sided suggesting a more contoured and elegant shape.
Engine options are expected to include a 290 hp (216 kW / 294 PS) 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a 360 hp (268 kW / 365 PS) 5.7-liter HEMI V8, and a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with up to 525 hp (391 kW / 532 PS). As we have previously reported, Chrysler has promised the Pentastar V6 will be 22% more fuel efficient than today's 3.5-liter V6. This translates into a fuel economy rating of 21 mpg city / 30 mpg highway.
